Work at AXOL Server

Working at AXOL Server means taking on an ambitious challenge: building Italy’s leading center of expertise in open-source virtualization technologies, while also becoming Italy’s leading manufacturer of servers specifically designed for the deployment of hyperconverged clusters based on Proxmox VE and Ceph.

AXOL Server was created by DkR, a company founded in 2011 in Lomazzo at the ComoNExT Innovation Hub, which now has 25 permanent employees with an average age of 34. In 2023, it opened a branch in Ivrea (Turin). The company is currently seeking new Proxmox and Ceph system administrators to join its growing team at its headquarters in Lomazzo (Como), in response to rapidly increasing demand for high-availability hyperconverged clusters.

At AXOL Server, you’ll develop your technical skills every day through continuous knowledge-sharing with senior systems engineers who started working with Proxmox VE 1.6, back when it was still a platform for a handful of CLI-loving nerds.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Proxmox system administrator with proven experience using Proxmox VE, whether professionally or as a homelab enthusiast, who is eager to further develop their skills and share their knowledge with colleagues in our young and growing team.
