FAQ
AXOL Server is an Italian company specializing in the design and deployment of hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) clusters based on Proxmox VE and Ceph.
The company draws on 15 years of experience with Proxmox VE and assembles every server in-house at its facilities in Ivrea (Turin) and Lomazzo (Como), using hardware specifically selected, designed, and tested for this purpose. This approach maximizes performance and resilience while keeping pricing highly competitive. Customers are supported throughout the entire lifecycle of their infrastructure, from sizing and installation to migration from VMware, Hyper-V, or other legacy environments, as well as monitoring and remote or on-site technical support whenever required.
Of course! Configure your cluster online based on your specific requirements, with real-time pricing so you can immediately assess the investment. The configurator will generate an initial cluster configuration using optimized and tested components.
The configuration is then reviewed by an AXOL Server specialist within a few hours. They will contact you to verify that it is the best fit for your requirements and, if necessary, customize it further, including with components not available in the configurator, until the ideal cluster configuration is achieved.
We build our systems in-house rather than purchasing preassembled third-party servers. This gives us complete control over hardware and software throughout the cluster lifecycle. We offer optional on-site warranty coverage for up to 5 years, as well as ongoing support with no fixed time limit.
Absolutely! The configurations we offer online are carefully designed and tested to deliver excellent performance with Proxmox VE and Ceph, optimized driver compatibility, and proven reliability at a competitive price. However, if you have specific requirements or your company policies require the use of particular hardware, please contact us. An AXOL Server specialist will work with you to design the ideal cluster for your needs.
AXOL Server offers optional comprehensive 3- or 5-year warranty plans, in addition to the statutory 12-month warranty.
Our warranty covers all hardware components of the cluster nodes, backup server, and switches. It also includes on-site service for server repairs or, when required, pickup, repair, testing, and return at our facilities in Ivrea (Turin) and Lomazzo (Como).
Even if a hardware component requires repair, the high-availability architecture allows workloads to continue running on the remaining cluster nodes, helping maintain service continuity while the affected node is being serviced.
At Officine ICO in Ivrea and ComoNExT in Lomazzo, AXOL Server has created a specialized hub for server technologies, bringing together hardware expertise and advanced skills in Proxmox VE and Ceph. This combination of capabilities sets AXOL Server apart in the Italian market.
You can therefore rely on highly skilled systems engineers who support you throughout the entire lifecycle of your server infrastructure or your customers’ environments.

Our support is provided exclusively in-house: you will always be assisted by a specialized systems engineer from our offices in Ivrea (Turin) or Lomazzo (Como), with no intermediaries or call center operators.
Of course! AXOL Server works with financial partners offering leasing solutions that allow you to spread the cost of the cluster over 36 or 60 monthly payments, with no down payment and a final purchase option equal to 1% of the cluster value.
Configure your cluster or contact us for more information.
Certainly! Contact us to schedule an introductory call and tell us about your current Proxmox infrastructure, the issues you are experiencing, and your goals. An AXOL Server specialist will assess your requirements, with additional systems engineers involved when working with particularly complex infrastructures.
Absolutely! We offer the option to purchase Proxmox VE and Proxmox Backup Server subscriptions as standalone products, without the need to configure a server cluster. This option is ideal for companies and IT professionals who want to use Proxmox with existing infrastructure or for specific projects. Subscriptions provide access to the Proxmox enterprise repository with stable software updates and, depending on the selected subscription level, access to official Proxmox support.
